I have enjoyed solving problems since I was a child.
That is not a phrase for a website. It is the reason this day exists at all.
First it was my own problem.
I did not design this system as a product. I built it for my own company, because we had a problem that could not be trained away.
My staff were supposed to be able to work with AI. The obvious solution would have been to teach everyone AI. That is exactly where it failed: it assumes that everybody acquires knowledge they have neither the time nor the appetite for — and that they have lost again three weeks later.
So I turned the task around. Not adapting the people to the tool, but building a system that can be operated without any prior knowledge.
Today the knowledge sits in the system, not in someone's head.
Today we work with a system that helps us build our knowledge, share it and hand it over. Nobody needs to know anything about AI for that. You ask the way you would ask a colleague.
That changed more than I expected. Knowledge is no longer tied to individual people. Whoever joins has access to what used to sit in heads only. Whoever leaves does not take it along. And decisions can be read up instead of remembered.
I pass this path on at the AI-Start — in one day, with all the detours I took myself cut out. What that looks like for a team →
